Welcome to ApplicantMatchAI. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our resume-LinkedIn comparison service available at applicantmatchai.com (the "Service"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

By creating an account, accessing the API, or using any part of our Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
To use the Service, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You may register using an email and password or through Google OAuth.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or use of your account.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
ApplicantMatchAI provides an AI-powered service that compares resumes against LinkedIn profiles to detect discrepancies and verify candidate claims. The Service:

We may impose rate limits on API usage to ensure fair access and service quality. Excessive usage may result in temporary suspension or additional fees.
The Service operates on a pay-per-use basis. Each comparison costs $0.25, deducted from your account balance.
You must maintain a positive account balance to use the Service. New accounts receive $5.00 in free credits. You may add funds at any time through our payment processor (Stripe).
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store credit card information. By adding funds, you authorize us to charge your payment method.
All purchases are final and non-refundable. Account balance credits do not expire and can be used at any time.
We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time. Changes will be communicated via email and will not affect existing account balances.
The minimum payment amount to add funds is $10.00.
All content, features, and functionality of the Service, including but not limited to software, text, graphics, logos, and APIs, are owned by ApplicantMatchAI and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain all rights to the resume files you upload and the data extracted from them. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your files solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us the right to use such feedback without any obligation or compensation to you.
Resume and LinkedIn PDF files uploaded to the Service are processed in real-time and are not stored on our servers. Files are immediately deleted after processing.
Structured comparison results (candidate names, match scores, discrepancy flags, and extracted data points) are retained for 90 days to allow you to review past comparisons. Original documents are never stored.
We collect and store metadata about each comparison request, including file types, processing time, and success/failure status. This data is used for billing, analytics, and service improvement.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with all applicable data protection laws, including obtaining necessary consents from candidates before processing their data.
We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with or without notice.

You acknowledge that AI-powered comparison may produce errors or inaccuracies, and you are responsible for verifying all results before making hiring decisions.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, APPLICANTMATCHAI AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except where prohibited by law.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ApplicantMatchAI regarding the use of the Service.
